An ex-library copy of a reference book from the early 1900s on the early history of the University of Texas at Austin. It was written by H Y Benedict who later became president of the university. Benedict Hall on the South Mall of UT was named after him. This copy has been rebound in brown buckram with gold lettering. Pencil notes on the FFEP indicate it was from UT's Humanities Research Center. the pencil notes are the only library markings. Scrape on the front paste down where are PO book plate was partially removed. The internals are clean and tight. A good to very good copy of a vintage historical reference book on UT. A large heavy book that may require additional postage.
