The content may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, prices, promotions, offers, product shipping costs, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We also reserve the right to withdraw any Product from sale (or any part or content thereof) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service or the Product.

We strive to provide an accurate image of the products and a description of their condition, but we cannot guarantee that it is accurate. All product images and descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice. Furthermore, we do not guarantee that the quality of any product, service, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations.

Responses to queries

We are committed to responding to buyer enquiries, both pre- and post-purchase, within 2 working days. We also undertake to respond to emails from members of our staff within 2 working days.

Performance standards and code of conduct

Abebooks monitors seller performance to ensure customer satisfaction. It has established minimum standards for order service rates (90% or higher) and return rates (5% or lower) to ensure that buyers receive the item they ordered, in the condition described and within the specified time frame.

Abebooks provides a list of specific Code of Conduct violations that outlines the participation standards that sellers must maintain on its site.

Sellers who fail to meet Abebooks' performance standards or violate its Code of Conduct may face account suspension or permanent closure.

Order processing and shipping

Cita Books processes and ships all orders within a maximum of 48 hours after receiving them (during business days) and ships orders using a method that ensures delivery of the item within the specified time frame. Cita Books is responsible for the item until it reaches the buyer and, if the book does not arrive, will offer a refund.
To ensure that a shipment reaches its destination, all orders are sent by registered post.
When a product is returned by the buyer, they must send it by registered post. This is the only way we can ensure that we receive the returned order.
Cita Books only ships items weighing up to 2 kg. When the shipment exceeds 2 kg, the prices and shipping conditions change. In this case, Cita Books will contact the buyer to agree on a shipping method that suits both parties.

According to Abebooks' policies, sellers must process all orders, regardless of their origin. Cita Books only sells and ships orders to the following EU countries:
Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland.
*Shipments to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein may incur customs charges that are unknown to Cita Books and for which it is not responsible.

Returns

Cita Books accepts all returns, regardless of the reason given by the buyer, on condition that the item is returned by registered post.

Under the laws of certain European jurisdictions, sellers must accept all returns of any order placed in any of our European stores, regardless of the reason.

All returns must be processed through the Abebooks online system and all refunds must be issued through the same payment method that the buyer originally used for the order.
