Demgegenuber richtet der vorliegende Band die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Impulse aus dem Global South fur die internationale Diskussion des Verfassungsrechts. Die Beitrager befassen sich mit der Frage, welche Lehren aus sudlichen Perspektiven zu ziehen sind und wie diese die Verfassungsrechtswissenschaft bereichern. Im ersten Teil entwickeln Philipp Dann (Deutschland), Konrad Lachmayer (Osterreich), Pablo Riberi (Sudamerika) und Surya Deva (Asien) komparative Perspektiven im Sinne von "regards croises". Sie untersuchen, wie nordliche und sudliche Sichtweisen ineinandergreifen und neue methodische Horizonte eroffnen. Der zweite Teil enthalt zwei Fallstudien: Selin Esen analysiert die Konsequenzen sudlicher Erfahrungen fur das Verstandnis des Rechtsstaats, wahrend David Bilchitz die Gestaltung sozialer Grundrechte im Spannungsfeld zwischen Nord und Sud vergleicht. Die Beitrage entstanden im Rahmen des 39. Kongresses der Gesellschaft fur Rechtsvergleichung, der im September 2024 in Berlin stattfand.
