Space Age Renaissance Man

Dr. Harold L. Finch - Great Man of Science/Man of Great Faith

"Harold's unmatched story will inspire you to want to go out and live your own greatest dreams. As my friend, and someone who became a personal mentor, it was a privilege for me to have known Harold and to have produced the motion picture, UNLIMITED, based on his extraordinary life." -Chad Gundersen, Executive Producer of THE CHOSEN

Discover how one of the world's most successful dreamers repeatedly overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles to achieve what others said was impossible.

Growing up in the 1930s-40s, Harold lived in utter defeat. His angry and controlling father continually told him he was worthless and would never amount to anything...until God came into his young life and gave him a new purpose and direction.

In the 1950s, as an Air Force officer, the intelligence gained from Harold's daring covert Cold War military operations directly helped change the outcome of the Space Race.

As a young engineer in the 1960s, the temperature control system (dubbed "the barbecue roll") Harold invented (as Project Director of NASA's Apollo Heating Program) was the huge missing piece of the puzzle that kept the lunar astronauts (and their sensitive instruments) from either freezing or frying in the radical extremes of translunar outer space. Implementing a manual version of the barbecue roll was also the critical first step required to save the crippled Apollo 13.

In the 1970s, after positioning himself at the leading edge of a revolutionary paradigm shift in higher education, Harold once again distinguished himself and rose to the position of college president.

Hearing the call of entrepreneurship as the new millennium approached, he again stepped into the unknown. Harold founded companies that three times earned the distinction of being named Inc. 500 corporations, including the nation's largest training business.

In retirement, the pro bono success seminars Harold gave to packed auditoriums and soccer stadiums inspired countless people to pursue their own dreams. Likewise, the unique evangelistic ministries he established guided more than 80,000 people into first-time relationships with the Lord.
