A unique book born from the dialogue between a designer and a critic, exploring shared ideas through the juxtaposition of architectural projects and Italian artistic tradition. Features works by Peluffo&Partners and renowned collaborators, illustrated with stunning photography by Ernesta Caviola.

An architect and a critic discuss what unites them, common reasoning that gives rise to a dialogue that establishes a link between buildings, built or just thought of, and images taken from the artistic tradition, mainly Italian. The result is a presentation of Peluffo & Partners’ architecture seen through the spaces, bodies and figures drawn from suggestions from the world of art, ancient and contemporary, cinema and architecture itself.

The volume includes shots by Ernesta Caviola, who has consistently photographed the architecture of Peluffo & Partners and collaborated in the fine-tuning of the images.

Valerio Paolo Mosco is associate professor of Architectural Design and Theory of Architecture at the UniversityIUAV of Venice. He currently teaches at Cornell University in the Rome campus. Gianluca Peluffo is a researcher at IULM in Milan where he works on the relationship between Art and Architecture and is Visiting Professor of Architectural Design at ENAM, Ecole National d'Architecture de Marrakech.
