The Space Between Texts

The Space Between Texts (V 2.0)
A story told through what’s said — and what’s left unsent.

What if the love that shaped you wasn’t the one you kept—
but the one that taught you how to stay open?

Alexis wasn’t looking for a story. She was just living her life—volleyball nights, quiet routines, and the belief that connection was something other people stumbled into. Then she met Travis. Slow at first, like a shift in season, then suddenly everything: the late-night conversations, the almosts, the pauses, the text messages that became their own language.

But timing has its own way of writing.
Distance, miscommunication, and the quiet space between what’s said and what’s meant begin to unravel what felt inevitable.

Told through text threads, journal entries, and intimate narrative snapshots, The Space Between Texts is a modern love story about two people learning each other’s rhythms—and their own. It explores the ache of almosts, the tenderness of trying again, and the courage it takes to stay open even when connection doesn’t follow a perfect plot line.

When Alexis learns to stop reading fear into every pause, and Travis begins finally naming the truths he’s run from, their story becomes less about “getting back together” and more about understanding the impact we leave on one another—even when love changes shape.

For anyone who’s ever loved quietly, lost gently, or grown because of someone they didn’t keep, this novel will feel like a conversation you’ve lived before.

Poetic, raw, and deeply human, The Space Between Texts captures the heart of modern relationships—how they spark, how they drift, and how they stay with us long after the typing stops.

If you love books that feel like real life—honest, hopeful, a little messy, and achingly tender—this story is for you.
