Nice condition vintage copy of "Spalding's Base Ball Guide" for 1929. Softcover. There are photographs throughout, including images from the 1928 World Series, team photos, player profiles, in-action scenes, and more. This copy contains numerous images BABE RUTH and LOU GEHRIG. Also shown are other baseball greats such as Rogers Hornsby, Hack Wilson, Lefty Grove, Jimmie Foxx, etc. There are illustrated advertisements at the back. Condition: Clean covers. There is a strip of clear tape at the bottom of the spine that extends 1" onto the covers. Small tear at the bottom-right corner of the spine. Both covers and all pages are firmly attached. The pages are clean and appear unread with no issues found. Overall the guide is in Very Good condition.
