About the Author

Bev Lewman has spent the last 9 years developing and field-testing the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Programs funded Spark Creative Arts Curriculum. Dr. Susan A. Fowler is a professor of early childhood special education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she currently serves as Dean of the College of Education. She received her doctorate in developmental and child psychology at the University of Kansas in 1979.
