The Spark of My Womb

Have you ever wanted to burn the whole thing down? To step into the fire—not to be destroyed, but to be reborn.

When Amy retreats to Big Bear to escape her life, she brings nothing but grief, a backpack, and well-laid plans. She’s fully prepared (or so she thinks) for a guided psilocybin retreat with Dr. Lauren, a reclusive healer who promises transformation through the medicine of the earth. On her way there, she has a chance encounter with Jane, a woman whose unraveling begins with the tiniest spark of life.

Meanwhile, London is visiting a mental health clinic, desperate to quiet the chaos inside. There she meets Peggy, a compassionate yet enigmatic guide with her own hidden cracks beneath the surface.

As these women's paths cross, blur, and converge, a single candle burns quietly in the background—until the flame grows into something bigger. Wilder. Uncontainable.

Set against a backdrop of forests, daisies, and the invisible threads that bind us, The Spark of My Womb is a mystical thriller and mind-bending tale of sisterhood, healing, and self-reclamation. With a twist you won’t see coming, this story dares to ask: what if the only way out... is in?
