Mithilfe zahlreicher Studien aus Virtual Reality, 3D-Kino und Computerspielen analysiert Daniel Pietschmann zentrale Implikationen f�r die Kombination realit�tsnaher Eingabeger�te und stereoskopischer Darstellung f�r das Erleben moderner virtueller Umgebungen. Diese Technologien liefern wahrnehmungsnahe sensorische Reize, die im Rahmen von Spatial Mapping betrachtet werden. Im Fokus steht dabei die Kombination verschiedener Technologien der Ein- und Ausgabe mit dem damit verbundenen Interaktionsgegenstand. Ein hoher Grad an Spatial Mapping erlaubt es Nutzern, intuitiv mit virtuellen R�umen zu interagieren, da die Wahrnehmungsr�ume ideal aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Der Transfer von Wissen und Fertigkeiten von realen auf virtuelle Handlungen f�hrt zu einem positiven Benutzererlebnis und besserer Aufgabenleistung.
