2 copies of Irvin S. Cobb's Speaking of Operations. The color cover is likely a very early, possibly first printing thus because: 1. Published by Doran, not Doubleday Doran. Does not have the monochrome cover with the changing date in parentheses. The color DJ is in quite nice shape, as is the book itself, with the exception that the illustration that should appear after page 36, actually appears as a frontispiece, so it is possible the original frontispiece was removed and the illustration from page 36 was pasted in front, or. The monochrome cover is heavily soiled on the rear along with a sizeable missing chunk; however, it does have the illustration after page 36 and also a separate frontispiece. Did not see another color DJ of this style out there. Both protected in clear attractive Mylar covers. We use quality packaging materials (including boxes!) for shipping.
