Some Special Cases Of The Flecnode Transformation Of Ruled Surfaces (1922)

""Some Special Cases Of The Flecnode Transformation Of Ruled Surfaces"" is a mathematical research paper written by John Wayne Lasley Jr. and published in 1922. The paper explores the flecnode transformation, which is a mathematical concept used to transform a ruled surface (a surface made up of straight lines) into another surface with different properties. Lasley Jr. focuses on special cases of this transformation, examining the properties of the resulting surfaces and the mathematical equations that describe them. The paper is aimed at a specialized audience of mathematicians and is written in technical language, with equations and diagrams to illustrate the concepts discussed. It is a valuable resource for those studying the flecnode transformation and its applications in mathematics and geometry. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
