Externally, generally smart with small patches of rubbing to the extremities and to the spine. Small loss to the spine label. Prior owner's ink inscription to recto of front endpaper, Arthur Swinbourn of Tickenham. Internally, firmly bound. Top portion of vignette title page has been neatly removed.
