The Spectacular Spectacle: The Invisible Gears of Systemic Discrimination

Systemic Discrimination is like organized crime - it does not exist.

The purpose of this book is to outline the impact Systemic Discrimination has on the life outcomes of Black Americans. This book meticulously dissects and examines the specific processes by which Systemic Discrimination influences the educational, social, and economic progress of Black Americans. This book strategically utilizes history, statistics, and empirical research to help the reader come to terms with the stark reality that Systemic Discrimination creates social barriers which complicate the forward progress of Black Americans. This book outlines and details how Black America’s generational trajectory towards underachievement runs parallel with America’s generational tendency to withhold and take away resources from its Black American citizens.

Systemic Discrimination (like an abusive and unfair parent) is to blame for Black America’s (the abused child) underachievement. In contrast, it is Black America’s (the abused child) responsibility to heal from its abusive past and move boldly and confidently into the future. The purpose of this book is not to BLAME Systemic Discrimination for the totality of Black America’s issues. In contrary, the purpose of this book is to hold Systemic Discrimination RESPONSIBLE for the part it does play in the persistent pattern of poor life outcomes on the part of Black Americans.
