The books are bound in green cloth-covered boards with stamped black string decorations, gilt title on the spine. Defects to note are light edge wear, Volume I has a cracked front hinge that is holding firm. Volume I has a black and white frontis of portrait of Addison with tissue guard in place. Edited by George Washington Greene "With Critical and Explanatory Notes".Two volume set in original cloth, which sort of simulates a leather binding. Very nice and attractive copy. !883 Reprint of the 1875 copyright. Size: 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
