Binding: Full contemporary calf, upper and lower boards with triple embossed borders, the second one with foliage cornerpieces, spine in 6 densely-gilt compartments of raised bands, edges tinted red. Engraved vignette title-page in each volume. All books have wear on the covers, particularly at the top and bottom of the spines and at the corners. The leather is flaking, some books are stained. Slight bookworm damage on a couple. Pencil notations on the inside covers. Inside pages are clean. Pieces of spines missing. #235 2025-12-05 -cb.
