1747 edition. Complete in eight volumes. Fraser Tytler's signature to the top of each title page. Woodcut of Shakespeare to each title page. Some foxing and light offsetting to pages. Inner hinges slightly cracked (only paper. Bound in a contemporary full calf with red titling labels and green volume numbers. Raised bands and gilt decorated compartments. Top and bottom of most spines slightly chipped. Spine and edges rubbed and slightly darkened. Boards are slightly marked and rubbed. All boards are firmly attached and it is generally a good solid set. A small set, measuring just over five inches tall.
