Fair Copy in rather battered calf on boards with raised bands on spine. Outer boards have almost separated from spine and there is some wear at head/foot. Front paste down bears old label from "Hammersmith Literary and Scientific Institute". Previous owners inscription dated 1861 on FFE and further inscription on verso of frontis. Some foxing through prelims and sporadically through text. Some internal cracks though gatherings are still holding. Some foxing to rear end papers and general wear. Interesting.
