Synopsis

Are poltergeists real?

In this flip book of related tales, a story of a group of young ghost hunters who have never actually seen a ghost connects to a story about the poltergeist Arthur, who is trying to be seen.

The Specter Inspectors

Rupert, Bertie, Mindi, and Spooks the cat are the Specter Inspectors--ghost hunters for hire. Except they have one problem: they haven't ever captured, met, or even seen a ghost. With their leader, Rupert, close to giving up, can one last case change it all?

The Poltergeist's Problem

Arthur died a long time ago and has wanted to be free from his house ever since . . . but he can't go farther than the front door. When Bravewaite Manor is put up for sale, however, Arthur will have to fight to save it. But how can he do that when he can barely switch off a light?

About the Authors

W. G. White is arguably a human with ten fingers and just as many toes. He uses these limbs to craft odd fables concerning monster-catering hairdressers, magic mushy peas, puppet-hating puppeteers, and other such enjoyable nonsense. He lives on Earth (for now) with his human wife and non-human dog. He is not an alien.

For more than eight years, Nicolas Rix has worked with some of the world's greatest publishers, creative studios, imaginative writers and directors. He has helped them bring their ideas to life with his illustrations and animation. His work includes book covers, character design, background art, matte painting, and cel animation.
