The Spectrum - User Manual: from Retro Games Limited

With its timeless aesthetic and vibrant personality, The Spectrum isn’t just an updated replica of the iconic eighties home computer; it’s a work of art that delivers a nostalgic yet ever-relevant gaming adventure for everyone.

The Spectrum is a modern recreation of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum personal computer series first released in 1982. The device is instantly reminiscent of the original 16 and 48K ZX Spectrum with a fully functional rubber keyboard – however, looks can be deceiving, as it is packed with features that were only to be found on later Spectrum models, including additional memory and improved sound.

Adorned with its signature rainbow colours, this fun, quirky and extroverted machine brings back the joy of accessible pick-up-and-play games, offering an experience that some feel modern gaming has lost, yet with HDMI and USB ports that offer seamless integration with today’s technology.

Preloaded with 48 of the best genre defining games - all fully licensed and ready to launch from the easy-to-use carousel – the user can also easily load additional games they own from a USB stick.

This is the paperback version of The Spectrum’s user manual, illustrated throughout in black and white.
