About this Item

This is the 1967 UK book club edition. The book is in near fine condition, marred only by a trace of lean, plus light bumps at top and bottom of spine. Binding is tight, with no reading crease in the spine. The red cloth covered boards are sharp cornered, unmarked, unfaded and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on the spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. The unclipped dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good+ condition: whole and unfaded, with a handwritten price on the back flap, otherwise unmarked, with light wear at top and bottom of spine and on flap folds. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description.

Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
