[Paris], [Desnos], [seconda metà del XVIII secolo], incisione in rame su doppia lastra: l'esterna per la cornice decorativa rococò, l'interna per le due sfere armillari; mm. 280x319 la lastra esterna, mm. 225x265 la lastra interna. Lievemente acquerellati d'epoca, in rosa, la fascia dell'eclittica e la linea degli equinozi e dei solstizi. Tavola proveniente da una delle edizioni dell'"Atlas général, méthodique et élémentaire pour l'étude de la géographie et de l'histoire moderne (con carte disegnate principalmente da L. Brion de La Tour)". Montata in elegante cornice lignea moderna, laccata e dorata, con passepartout e vetro di protezione. Alcune circoscitte bruniture sui margini. Seller Inventory # LD/153471
