Spire

Gregor Dekleva’s second volume of poetry crosses a panoply of themes ranging from the purely temporal - like being in a café - to transcental ones exploring light, faith, and
the person in view of a rapidly changing world.
The poems have a lightness to them which pays tribute
to the need for engagement regardless of new and changing contextual frameworks.

In a language richly allegorical and often invocative Gregor Dekleva’s Spire shows a deeply reflective and mature writing style which invites the reader to ask, “And where am I?”
