And How My Spirit Soars is an exhilarating flight of inspiration - the baring of a soul that reaches out to touch your own. Traveling from early childhood in Queens, New York, to Stanford Law School and beyond, Sharon's journals of adventure and poetry tell her story as it happened - and pass on what she's discovered: growth in mind, body, spirit and soul.
A revealing journey of contrast and discovery, it is the story of victory and of loss, hopscotch and divorce, death and friendship, piano recitals and singing at the top of your lungs, butt kickings and the first French kiss, of just say no and saying yes, standing high on a mountain in Switzerland and low to the ground in search of answers, of late night studying and quite truths, of challenge and celebration.
Along the way she learns and shares the difference between dragging baggage. . .and what to pack in a survival bag full of life's essentials for an extraordinary adventure.
The story is one that inspires our spirits to soar - and each of us to claim our own magnificence.
