Spiritual DNA: The Science and Spirit of Who We Really Are: Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?

Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going? Paul Gauguin's famous questions open this book, and Dr Neil A. Mence answers them not with dogma but with recognition. Spiritual DNA proposes that, just as physical DNA is the blueprint of the body, there is a Spiritual DNA: an infinite field of intelligence that holds the blueprint of our highest potential. Its central premise is simple and challenging: we cannot GET what we already HAVE. Health, abundance, love and purpose are not missing from our lives; we have simply not yet recognised that we already are what we have been searching for. Across seven parts and 33 chapters, the reader moves from Awakening and Revelation, through the Mechanism of how consciousness shapes experience, to the Barriers of fear, guilt, resentment and shame. Practical Tools follow: the power of the spoken word, affirmations, affirmative prayer, one clear intention, imagination, and silence. These are then applied to health, prosperity, relationships, work and living in the now. The final part explores life after death and ends with the declaration 'I AM'. The book draws on the New Thought tradition, notably Thomas Troward, Florence Scovel Shinn and Joseph Murphy, and brings it into conversation with physics, philosophy and mysticism, with voices from Spinoza and Rumi to Schrödinger, Planck and Penrose. Topics include entanglement, universal energy, the Law of Cause and Effect, forgiveness and Ho'oponopono. Dr Neil A. Mence is a spiritual psychology teacher and writer with over 22 years of global outreach and Director of the International Centres for Positive Living. Clear, warm and free of jargon, this is a book to read slowly and return to, for anyone ready to move from seeker to knower.
