About the Author

DR. SAM BRUCE is President of Sam & Sandie Bruce Ministries (a national preaching, retreat, leadership training, and music ministry), and Lead Pastor of Hope Point Church (a church plant in Pearl, Mississippi). He is an online instructor for Mid-America Christian University and Nazarene Bible College. Previously, he was Senior Pastor of Fourth Street Church of God in Madera, California, for 21 years; and President of Wesley College for 12 years. He serves on the boards of Heres Life Mission to Africa, Mission Mississippi (a racial reconciliation movement), and Camp Oakhurst (a mountain retreat center). He is a member of the Rotary Club of Jackson, Mississippi, and serves as a Prayer Committee Member. He received the following degrees: D.Min., Fuller Theological Seminary; D. Min., California Graduate School of Theology; M.Div., Anderson University School of Theology; B.A., Mid-America Christian University; A.A., Wesley College; and did some graduate work at Southern Nazarene University.
