Beautifully illustrated with drawings, photographs and diagrams, this book is the history of the Spitfire, as well as the aircraft's history in the 'Free' Airforces of Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Holland, Norway, and Poland. And includes the histories of the seaplanes such as the Seafire, and aircrafts such as the Schneider Trophy that lead up the the Spitfire's development.
