A Reedraw© book! Splash Tales© are enjoyable and informative books for young readers aged 8 and up, with an exciting new twist! As well as a fun story to read, children can add to the illustrations, colour the images and learn interesting facts about the characters and the ocean environment where they live. Designed to capture the imagination of even the most reluctant reader, Splash Tales will enable any child to be artistic and creative whilst at the same time working on those vital reading skills. The first in the Splash Tales Collection is a story about Splash the dolphin and his close friend Inker the cuttlefish. The Pacific Olympics is coming to town and Splash is desperate to be involved. However, being pretty bad at sport, Splash manages to convince Inker to enter the archery competition. What will happen when Inker is faced by his arch enemy Slink the octopus? It's a nailbiting finish with an important lesson for the bullying octopus, Slink.

Sally Reeder is a wife and mother of three, who, for the past 8 years, has worked as a Teaching Assistant in her local Primary School. During this time she has worked with children from ages 7 to 11 years old and has found that one of the biggest challenges faced by schools is encouraging children to read regularly. She believes that it is incredibly important to foster a love of books and reading in children of this young age; a love that will follow them through their education and into adult life. With her Reedraw© books, Sally hopes to make reading a more enjoyable experience for those children who find it hard to lose themselves in a book - allowing them to create a unique record of their early reading career.
