Water drips, pitter-patters, rushes, and rises in this lyrical board book. Starting and ending with a little boy in his home, we follow water’s journey as rain soaks into the ground and helps plants grow, then watch it evaporate and create increasingly heavy clouds until it rains once more and flows to the tap.

Zoey Kim’s soft and dreamy illustrations and Sam Voulters’s flowing poetry explore science through sounds and sensations, ideal for fun first conversations about the natural world.

Zoey Kim is a South Korean illustrator and designer. Her distinctive use of blur and fuzziness in her illustrations conveys a sense of wonder and nostalgia. She has been featured widely in the design press and has recently collaborated with the fashion brand Lazy Oaf. Zoey lives in Dubai.
