Splintered North

After surviving the most harrowing night of my life, I'm left desperate for answers. No one will tell me where North is, and my last memory of him is his blood-streaked face. But stars don't bleed, do they?

As the first light of dawn creeps in, the steady beep of a monitor becomes my anchor. When that beeping fades away, I'm thrust into a world where the North Star has lost its brilliance. It's scattered into a thousand glittering fragments, and nobody knows how to mend it. But how am I supposed to find my way back without the light of my guiding star? And how can I help North rediscover his own light?

In the deafening quiet, I find solace in my art. Sketching moments of love, awakening, yearning, and the journey back to where it all began. It feels like only yesterday when North Beckett blew into my life like a Canadian whirlwind, leaving me breathless. Now, as his gaze meets mine, my world crumbles and shifts, and I know that nothing will ever be the same again.

"I'm writing stories because I can't breathe without."

At six years old, Anna Katmore told everyone she wanted to be an author after she discovered her mother's typewriter on a rainy afternoon. She could just see herself typing away on that magical thing for the rest of her life.

In 2012, she finished her first young adult romance "Play With Me" and decided to take the leap into self-publishing. When the book hit #1 on Amazon's bestseller lists within the first week after publication, Anna knew it was the best decision she could have made.
Today, she lives in an enchanted world of her own, where she combines storytelling with teaching, and she never tires of bringing a little bit of magic into the lives of her beloved readers, too.

Anna's favorite quote and something she lives by:
If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough.
