Top 3x1 inch corner of title page torn off, probably removing a name Paper with black cloth over spine, oblong 21 cm wide x 14 cm tall; viii and pages 183-517, as bound. Long "Basic Sentences" sections as conversational stories in many situations, has English on left, French on right, and down the center the sound of the French is respresented in simple English letters - an easy way to catch on to prioununciation .
