Spon's House Improvement Price Book : House Extensions, Storm Damage Work, Alterations, Loft Conversions, and Insulation

With house prices booming and a shortage of homes in the UK, the domestic housing sector of the industry is on the increase. This book has been written to respond to the increasing volume of work in the domestic housing market. More houses are being extended, converted and insulated than ever before and the maintenance market continues to provide ample work for most small to medium contractors. This surge of activity has created a demand for accurate cost information.
Other building price books provide lists of most of the items encountered in building work but it is left to the user to assemble these items to represent each particular project. This book is unique in that it provides not only lists of fully priced-out standard items, but also collects and presents them into discrete sections covering 44 house extensions of different types and sizes, plus loft conversions.
Written for all those involved in building traditional extensions or converting lofts, Spon's House Improvement Price Book, 2nd Edition provides detailed and reliable cost data in a style designed to save time without sacrificing accuracy. The book is an invaluable tool for the day to day work of building contractors, sub-contractors, plus building and quantity surveyors in both the public and private sectors.
