Spooky Problems: Mad for Math

Help kids go MAD FOR MATH! This series offers a fun approach to learning. Through storytelling and entertaining activities, kids will begin to grasp basic mathematical principles and gain enthusiasm about the world of numbers. Two of the biggest challenges that children face in learning math are logic and problem solving. Learning to understand the reasoning that hides behind a "problem" will transform it into an extremely engaging and satisfying game. This book makes it all possible, thanks to a collection of games and activities that have been designed by an expert in education and learning through play. Children will find that math doesn't have to be scary! The book includes: • Games created with numbers, shapes, and calculations to develop math abilities • Activities designed to develop observation skills • Riddles, challenges, and quizzes to improve problem-solving skills and the use of lateral-thinking skills
