Spoon's Carpets: An Appreciation Caless, Kit

If you’ve ever been in a Wetherspoon's (and who hasn't), you’ve probably looked down and noticed the brilliantly-hued carpet beneath your feet. But that carpet isn’t just for disguising spilt drinks (and any other fluid that might arise over the course of a night out)… Each Wetherspoon has a carpet that has particular relevance to the site of that particular pub, the history of the building or town that it is in.

Thanks to the hit blog 'Spoons Carpets, these tapestried hymns to British culture have become a cultural sensation, with Wetherspoon's and Carpet fans alike submitting their own favourites. Now, for the first time, the editor of the blog has gathered his 50 favourite carpets together from Wetherspoon's up and down the country, complete with top facts and anecdotes about each pub. Will your 'Spoon's be in there?
