This is Vol.6 of the Second Series or Vol.81 of the Old Series. It consists of the months January 1833 to April 1833 on pages 193 to 472; this section is followed by the months of May and June 1833 which form part of Vol.VII of the Second Series, the page numbers running from page 1 to page 144. There then follows a section entitled "The Racing Calendar 1832" running from page 49 to page 84; this in turn is followed by a section entitled "Racing Calendar 1833" for which the page numbers are 1-16. Finally there is a four-page Index. Half-leather with marbled boards which are substantially rubbed and the corners are worn through. Front board, endpaper and title-page with engraving are detached; spine is also detached with the remains tucked in behind the front board (see image). Contents are in good, clean condition, with no apparent signs of marking.
