Hardback, 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Half bound fine leather binding, with black polished morocco leather to spine and red cloth to boards with gilt line edging. Raised banding to spines, with gilt decorations, and lettering to twin red leather spine labels. Top page edges gilt, marbled endpapers. In very good condition. In later fine binding. Cover fine. Some darkening and moderate foxing to plates, some offsetting to adjacent pages. Some handling marks and darkening to pages, else clean and tight. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 312pp + 4pp Index + 68pp Racing Calendar. Illustrated with 12 full-page B&W engraved plates; plus one engraved title page with vignette. Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We

library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
