Hbk 397pp royal 8vo no dj as issued red cloth embossed red cloth with black and gilt decoration, spine dulled and lightly rubbed top and tail (now in custom acetate jacket), illustr b+w Remington frontis + numerous b+w plates and text illustrations on riding, hunting, rowing, rugby, cricket, golf, and University athletics, prev owner’s name on front pastedown, hinges cracked but holding and otherwise a good clean solid unmarked working copy becoming harder to find.
