Shawn Askew is an Associate Professor of Turfgrass Weed Science at Virginia Tech's Department of Plant Pathology, Physiology, and Weed Science.

Erik Ervin is an Associate Professor of Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences specializing in Turfgrass Physiology and Cultural Management at Virginia Tech.

David McCall serves on the Virginia Sports Turf Manager's Association Board of Directors, the Virginia Turfgrass Foundation Board of Directors, the Virginia Turfgrass Council Program and Education Committee, and the National Sports Turf Managers Association Chapter Relations Committee.

Pete Schultz is a Professor of Entomology and Director at the Virginia Tech Hampton Roads AREC in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
