Synopsis of The Sprightly Sloth picture book

Whilst his brother and sister are content to laze the day away, Murray the sloth is up bright and early each morning, keen for a new adventure. It can however get a little lonely for Murray, being the only sprightly sloth.

When he sets off exploring in the rainforest one morning, he has no idea of the friends he’ll make, the new skills he’ll learn and the unforgettable adventure he’ll have along the way... and all the while, his brother and sister snoozzzze on.

But will Murray’s amazing adventure inspire the other sloths to finally have a little get-up-and-go themselves?

Christopher Bunt is an author/illustrator of children's books who lives in Falmouth in Cornwall with his wife and two children. He has a background in graphic design and has always enjoyed the challenge of creative writing. It was however his young daughter's love of reading picture books that first inspired him to write and illustrate his first picture book, The Sprightly Sloth.
