Springtime with the Polar Bears

After a long winter in their den, this polar bear family is ready for spring! This fun illustrated book is about a mother polar bear and her cubs coming out to play after being in their den all winter.

Emma Pedersen is an illustrator from Toronto, ON, currently living in a creaky 1890s fixer-upper in Hamilton, ON. She graduated from OCADU with a degree in drawing and painting which was followed with a Bachelors of Illustration from Sheridan College. Emma loves illustrating small moments of quiet intensity, as well as big, exuberant expressions of joy and fun. She is in love with her dogs, collects books to leave in piles, and is a pretty good hand at installing baseboards.
