Two-earner households should have more cash left over at the end of the month than singles. Sprouse endeavors to show couples how to manage this surplus. Her advice covers the usual range of things: stocks, home-buying, etc. There is a useful section on managing time by using software and professionals, and she supplies criteria for finding and hiring the latter. Sprouse's favorite investment suits debt-happy America: continually leverage whatever equity is building in a home in order to buy a second home and eventually rental property. Funding college educations and estate planning round out the advice. This book should serve as a good overview for young couples. Unfortunately, the advice covers little in depth and there is no bibliography to direct the curious to fuller elucidations. A toss-up.
