After a violent initial encounter, David made friends with Mo Cho Rook, the king of the Crooked Snake tribe. Then after moving to the other side of the parish, members of the tribe followed him and made camp across the road from his new habitation where he made friends with Nebehkakun, the local clan leader, who told David much about the tribe and the various local clans. Over one hundred Bigfoots moved to live in his yard, hence the title Squatchland II: Under the Sign of the Crooked Snake.

About the Author

David grew up and graduated high school in Louisiana where he was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman in his youth. His father taught him to hunt and fish for every type of game. David graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a BA in History and Poly Sci. After working as a retail Store Manager for 12 years he was hired by Bellsouth Cellular Corporation as Market Manager for Central Louisiana PCS, Cingular Wireless LLC. He rose to the rank of General Manager of Sales and exceeded his 7 year plan in 4 years finishing at 412% of Quota. He was the BellSouth Medallion Award winner 1998. Circle of Excellence award winner 1999, and Presidents Club winner 2000, 2001, 2002. He then went to Centennial Wireless after the sale of BellSouth, as District Manager of Mississippi/Se Louisiana, winning Presidents Club 2004, 2005, 2006.
