St. Francis and the Foolishness of God: Revised Edition

One of the most beloved of saints, the way of Saint Francis resonates most with those who long to overcome inequality and poverty, consumerism and spiritual emptiness. Francis' joyful spirituality combines the mystical with the earthly, liberation with faithfulness, literal poverty with the blessed poverty of the spirit.

For this new edition, the authors take special inspiration from the example and witness of Pope Francis, who demonstrates time and again the enduring challenge of St. Francis―especially in responding to poverty, the cause of peace, interreligious dialogue, and the urgent challenge of ecology.

For everyone who has been touched by St. Francis, this book will deepen that understanding and provide a new perspective on his enduring legacy.
