About this Item

In good condition this is a compilation of the St George's magazine for children in 1916. The black cloth boards have general edge wear consistent with age and the odd scuff mark/stain to the rear. Gilt titling to spine. Internally there is foxing and browning and a dedication to previous owner dated 1917. It is a nice tight copy containing beautifully illustrated stories, riddles, cartoons, photographs, competitions and some great advertisements. A nice glimpse back into childhood in the early 20th century.
