Das Thema der Biennale 2006 in Venedig von Richard Burdett lautete: Meta-Cities. Der �sterreichische Kommiss�r und Autor Wolf D. Prix - Mastermind von Coop Himmelb(l)au und Professor f�r Architektur an der Universit�t f�r Angewandte Kunst Wien - definiert Raum, Form und Netzwerk als die drei relevanten Aspekte einer Stadt. Diese Aspekte ordnete er drei Architekten zu und analysiert sie anhand folgender Werke: "Raum" - Friedrich Kieslers "Raumstadt", "Form" - Hans Holleins "Flugzeugtr�ger" und "Netzwerk" - Gregor Eichingers "Trialto". Prix thematisiert nicht nur die Architektur, sondern vielmehr deren interaktives Potenzial f�r urbanes Leben.
