?The fun stops abruptly when a body is found by the two friends and they are quickly embroiled in mystery, murder, and mayhem.

Give yourself time and a good cup of coffee when you start to read because you won't be able to put down this second murder mystery in the Best Friends Series. Two best friends of a ''certain age'' use their skills and background as minister and attorney to solve the crime in the midst of deception and greed. Join them as they are drawn into unraveling the mystery in order to save the season of their beloved tent show.

The twists and turns of Too Much at Stake, reminiscent of those solved by Miss Marple, will keep you guessing ''who did it?'' until the very end.

Co-authors Deb Lewis and Pat Ondarko really are best friends who live near the shore of Lake Superior. Pat can go out on her front porch and whistle to Deb when it's time for coffee.
