The complete & uncut version of King's 1978 apocalyptic masterpiece that restores the 150,000 words that were cut from that original & new material added as the author "reworked the novel for new generations,'' in an additional 500 pages, with pen-&-ink illustrations throughout the text. A BOMC (book club edition), identical to the trade edition, in 1153 pages with same DJ, this hardcover has matte black paper over quarter black cloth-covered boards, spine lettered in red, with stamped red author name & design to front board. Condition is Near Fine: from a single owner collection, it is exceptionally clean & bright, binding strong & straight, pages stark white & unmarked save for small check marks in pen to list of other King titles in front matter. Very slight rubbing/fading to extremities & a hint of corner bumping. The unclipped DJ (no price) is also Near Fine, with just a hint of wrinkling to head of spine.
