Despite wear along the seams, the spines are sure and secure. They have a venerable character and are confident. Within, the contents are much worn and there have been attempts at repair. In general, however, the pages are clear and benign. Thumb tags are sound. Coloured plates are fresh and bright. There are occasional annotations.
