This is an ex-library book and may have the usual library/used-book markings inside. This book has hardback covers. In fair condition, suitable as a study copy. No dust jacket. Folio (14 x 11 inches approx.), 1/2 brown leather with maroon cloth boards. Hinges split 2 inches at top with some loss. Gilt lettering on backstrip wearing away. Leather parts chipped and very rubbed, with discoloration. White library sticker at bottom of backstrip. Scratches and scuffs to covers. Bumped corners and chipped edges. Hinges reinforced with brown tape. Green floral patterned end papers. Pages are slightly dirty but text is clear. Date unstated but possibly around 1890 1900.
