Lenoir Chambers and Virginia's massive resistance to public school integration. Chambers was the editor of the Norfolk Virgina newspaper. The governor rather than beginning the court ordered integration closed all the Norfolk secondary schools. The editor supported the peaceful integration of the schools and this is the story of what happened in Norfolk. Near fine book with clean interior and an unclipped jacket with no chips or tears.
